Prof. Sérgio André Quaresma graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences at Fernando Pessoa University in Porto (DDS). He holds a Master of Science degree in Endodontics from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona (MSc) and completed his PhD at the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FORP-USP), in Brazil.

Prof. Sérgio Quaresma is an Assistant Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Endodontics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Lisbon. He is the President of the Portuguese Society of Endodontology and maintains a private practice in Endodontics in Lisbon. He is the author of several articles published in national and international journals, participates in clinical research projects, and teaches and lectures at national and international conferences on topics related to Endodontics.
