The original procedures for indirect bonding of brackets to teeth were developed in the 1970’s, however the technique never gained widespread adoption.
The recent development of digital indirect bonding systems and the advantages they provide is generating a renewed interest in the field. This presentation will discuss the features of a digital indirect bonding system and the rationale for incorporating indirect bonding into a modern orthodontic practice.
