Prof. Anton Friedmann keeps his full-time appointment as chairman of the Department of Periodontology and director of the same clinic at Witten/Herdecke University, Germany, since 2010. He is specialist in Periodontology approved by the German Society of Periodontology and an approved periodontist by the local Dental Chamber at Münster, Germany. He runs a 3-year perio-programme approved by the local Dental Chamber and collaborates with the School of Life Sciences at Witten/Herdecke University.
Professor Friedmann is an ITI Fellow and was founder and Director of the ITI Study Club Witten for over 10 years. He is an active member of national and international scientific societies, the IADR, DGI, DGZMK, DG Paro.
The list of publications in international peer-reviewed journals extends over 100 figures with an h-index of 22.
Professor Friedmann lectures extensively at the national and international level on various topics, accounting for numerous invited lectures and being an active speaker within the ITI speaker network.
