Digital Implant Planning and Execution: From Simple to Complex
As digital technology becomes more pervasive in everyday practice, there is an increased demand to apply it in ever-more-expanding clinical situations.
This presentation will explore the full application of digital technology in the implant patient from initial diagnostics to the final restoration. It will innumerate the planning principles in achieving surgical and prosthetic success. We will explore applying these principles in many cases, beginning with the simple single anterior implant and progressing in complexity through the full arch, fully digital fixed-implant patient.
Learning objectives
Understand what principles influence idealized gingival and restorative aesthetics and what we should look for before surgery begins.
Become familiar with planning principles to simplify full arch implant cases.
Apply these principles to various clinical situations, from the single tooth implant to the full arch implant case.
